Purposeful Growth

Growing is not always easy... it stretches us... stretches me... like learning to design and
create this blog. But had I not tried and had I not struggled with the formatting, I would not have
realized what fun it is! I haven't learned it all, and I am still learning, but it is my prayer that this blog spot serves to keep you updated on the "goings on"of Life-Growth groups and will encourage you as I try to share my spiritual journey with you (the tripping and the walking.)

We at THE GROVE are winding down our Purpose Driven Life series. We have learned that as His children, God has a plan and a purpose for our lives. I have personally been challenged, but now it up to me, (to us) to take the "next step" to put into practice what we have learned... to comply with the purposes God has for us.

Let's take a hard look together....Based on what we've learned, how will we now purposely plan to:
  • Honor and worship Him with our lives?
  • Fit in, belong and function in God's family the church?
  • GROW spiritually, to become more conformed to the likeness of Christ?
  • Serve God and others by discovering and using our unique gifts and talents?
  • Heed the mission to tell the good news of the gospel in your sphere of influence?

Growing spiritually, one of our purposes, is the focus of Life-Growth groups. We at THE GROVE are committed to the principle and practice spelled out for us in scripture.

They (purposed)- committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal and the prayers. ( Acts 2:42 The Message)

Will you regularly and faithfully purpose in your heart (and in your schedule) to make time for learning and life together that God calls us to? Come join us for teaching, food, fellowship and laughter. I know that you will come away enriched and encouraged. It's never too late to jump in. I'd love to talk with you or answer any of your questions and give you locations and details .

No, purposeful growing and taking that next step isn't always easy... it stretches us... stretches me....but if we don't try, we will never know the blessing.

Thanks for visiting this blogspot. We'll talk again soon.

Peggy
